I have been selected as one of only 100 athletes worldwide to compete in the Badwater 135 Ultramarathon. I am not a professional athlete. I work in technology integrating AI into businesses, and it is precisely this - seeing how fast the digital world is reshaping everything - that drives my conviction in the value of real, physical human experience.
Badwater 135 is a challenge that cannot be automated, optimised or shortcut. It demands everything a human being has to give.

A Private Fireside Experience
An in-person post-race event exclusively for your people. Ben and his coach, Fletch, share the full story from both sides: the athlete and the coach. The preparation, the doubt, the crisis points and the breakthroughs - told as a real conversation between two people who lived it together.

Regular training updates, behind-the-scenes content, race-day live coverage and professional photography. By the time I reach the start line, your organisation is part of the story - not a spectator.

PARTNERSHIP STRUCTURE
Fee: £4,500 + optional donation
The fee covers the Fireside Experience and all brand placement. This reflects the market rate for speakers with comparable credentials. A portion of the fee underwrites campaign costs and the remainder goes directly to The Allegr Foundation Charity and its Walk+Talk programme, full breakdown available.
A separate, optional, charitable donation to The Allegr Foundation (Registered Charity No. 1206023) The amount is at each partner's discretion and goes directly to supporting the Foundation's work.

The Allegr Foundation's flagship programme is Walk+Talk - free, community-based walking groups that bring people together for a gentle walk and a conversation. No cost, no fuss, no barriers. Organised across the South West and South East UK, with a dedicated programme for military veterans.
ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Ben Burch - Works in technology at the front edge of AI. Former University of Oxford rower, GB international. Selected for Badwater 135 - one of 100 athletes worldwide.
Fletch (Anthony Fletcher, MSc) - Ben's coach and founder of One Track Club. 20+ years in sports science and biomechanics. Former Head Coach of Precision Run at Equinox. Has coached everyone from complete beginners to Olympians. A human-first approach to coaching - no algorithms, no generic plans.
